KENYA

The Great Migration Safari

“Africa is mystic; it is wild; it is a sweltering inferno; it is a photographer’s paradise, a hunter’s Valhalla, an escapist’s Utopia. It is what you will, and it withstands all interpretations. It is the last vestige of a dead world or the cradle of a shiny new one. To a lot of people, as to myself, it is just home.”

OVERVIEW

Jambo!

I’m Lydia from Kenya, Africa and I am a tour operator with a diploma in Tour Operations of my special destination of Kenya.

Kenya is a dream destination in every sense – home to unforgettable wild animals and extraordinary scenic beauty.

I started my own small safari company back in 2016 and its been in operation for 5 years now. I have a total of 6.5 years of experience in the Kenya tourism sector as I was employed back then but made a decision to just start my own small safari company, registered it and continued doing what I loved, planning safaris, creating itineraries, meeting new travellers and so much more….

It will be my pleasure to meet and help you explore Kenya with BosoDabreo Tours Safaris.

Asante!

Fed by water that drains from the slopes of Kilimanjaro and the Chyulu hills, it forms a network of subterranean streams that flow above the non-porous Precambrian rock surface south of its source in the vast Tsavo. The mass of black lava flow is known as the Shetani Lava flow, a relic of the most recent major volcanic eruption in the Tsavo area. Shetani is a solidified stream of magma that erupted from the southern east end of the Chyulu Hills. According to local oral tradition, many people and animals were buried alive by the fast flowing fiery stream of lava accounting for

its Swahili name Shetani which means Devil.

What our guests say:

This adventure was by far one of the best travel values I have stumbled upon. Normally I am a solo, plan along the way traveler, I found this tour experience to be a game changer for those who wander the world on their own. Communication from Lydia was prompt with genuine friendly responses. All my requests were satisfied beyond my expectations! Maasai Mara was so amazing with once in a lifetim e experiences! From my arrival at Nairobi airport to my departure at the end of tour, everything was taken care of by the conciencious and professional staff. Lodging along the way was clean, comfortable, safe with outstanding service! I Loved the lodges, each unique with that exciting flavour of exactly what you would anticipate on a safari adventure. Lydia and her staff go beyond the expected, ensuring their guests felt taken care of. High five to the very knowledgable guide and driver, Geoff, who made the journey very special! Keep up the amazing job you are doing!                   JJ - December 2022
