ITINERARY

DAY 1 - Arrival to Singapore

Upon arrival at Changi International Airport, you will be met by our English-speaking driver and transferred to your hotel. Relax and rejuvenate with a light meal and massage at your leisure. Evening Yoga flow.

DAY 2 - City Tour

Today, your tour will start at Merlion Park at Esplanade Bridge. At the Merlion Park, come face to face with Singapore’s very own tourism mascot, the Merlion, standing in the foreground, whilst the structural masterpiece of visionary architect Moshe Safdie, the Marina Bay Sands Hotel stands majestically in its awesome granduer.

Your tour continues with a drive around the Civic District past the Padang, Cricket Club, Parliament House, Supreme Court and City Hall.

Next stop will be one of the oldest and most important Hokkien temples in Singapore, Thian Hock Keng Temple. The temple was built in traditional southern Chinese architectural masterpiece of stone, tiles and dragons and phoenixes, amazing cravings, intricate sculptures and imposing columns.

Travel to the heart of Chinatown and experience the old and the new, tradition and modernity in the rows of streets and traditional shophouses lovingly restored into tempting eateries, teahouses and shops selling Oriental arts, crafts and souvenirs as well as traditional Chinese medicinal herbs. Visit the Sri Mariamman Temple – this stunning Hindu temple is the oldest and perhaps the most active in the city. Built in 1827, it’s dedicated to the goddess Sri Mariamman, known to help heal people from diseases. Stop for lunch in Chinatown.

At Kampong Glam, admire the quiet majesty of the Sultan’s Mosque with its unmistakable golden dome, explore colourful food eateries, and browse through old-fashioned shops selling batiks, carpets, rattan basket-ware and exotic perfumes

DAY 3 - Orchard Road Tour and Museum

Singapore was separated from the rest of Malaysia on 9 August
1965, and became a sovereign, democratic and independent nation.
Independent Singapore was admitted into the United Nations on
21 September 1965, and became a member of the Commonwealth
of Nations on 15 October 1965. On 22 December 1965, it became
a republic, with Yusof Bin Ishak as the republic's first President.
Thereafter commenced Singapore's struggle to survive and prosper
on its own. It also had to create a sense of national identity and
consciousness among a disparate population of immigrants.
Singapore's strategy for survival and development was essentially to
take advantage of its strategic location and the favourable world economy.

At the Singapore City Gallery, we will take you back in time revealing how Singapore overcame many obstacles and challenges and transformed itself from a fishing port to a cosmopolitan city within a short period of time. You will also get to enjoy an exclusive bird’s eye view of Singapore’s central area at one of the largest architectural models in the world.

Next, enjoy a local cup of coffee or tea before your next stop to have a glimpse of our local housing estate. This is where you will come close to see how the locals of different races live side by side in harmony.

DAY 4 - Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay

Your tour will begin with a scenic view of Singapore the newest attraction the iconic Marina Bay Sands SkyPark. Crowning the three hotel towers of Marina Bay Sands at 200 metres in the sky, the Sands SkyPark® stretches longer than the Eiffel tower when laid down. The Sands SkyPark® is also home to the world’s largest public cantilever housing a public observatory deck, lush gardens, and exclusive restaurants such as The Sky on 57 and CELAVI; with a 150-metre infinity-edged swimming pool.

Proceed to Helix Bridge, a 280-metre pedestrian linkway – the longest in Singapore – that features a world’s first ‘double-helix’ structure. Inspired by the yin and yang concept in Asian culture, the architecturally unique bridge is said to bring wealth, happiness and prosperity to Marina Bay.

Moving on to one of the top places to visit in Asia, Gardens by the Bay spans over 100 hectares and is a highlight for any visitor to Singapore. Built at a cost of over one billion dollars, the gardens opened June 2012 and have already been billed as an unmissable attraction.
The gardens house two domes or conservatories, Cloud Forest and Flower Dome, which are climate-controlled indoor glasshouses. The Flower Dome (the larger of the two) replicates the cool-dry climate of the Mediterranean and South Africa, whilst the Cloud Forest replicates a cool-moist climate found in Tropical Montane regions such as Mount Kinabalu in Sabah and high elevation areas in South America.

Within the gardens, there are also 18 impressive-looking Supertrees (tree-like structures), which are vertical gardens up to 50 metres tall and perform a multitude of functions. Along with providing a bird’s eye view of the entire gardens, they also collect rainwater, generate solar power and act as venting ducts for the park’s conservatory.

Later, be dazzled by the magnificent sight of our Supertrees and let the music and lights entertain you in our daily Garden Rhapsody light and sound shows!
