I received a degree in restaurant and foodservice management in California and a Diplome Etudes de Culinaires from La Varenne Ecole de Cuisine in Paris, France.
I’ve enjoyed a long career in the local food industry. My classes combine a love of nutrition, current trends, and sustainably raised and prepared food or “food with integrity.” I love to teach those who love to cook and those who want to learn how.

Tshering (aka Lham) is a traveler, photographer, yoga instructor and a student of meditation and Qi-gong.
She leans towards compassionate living on vegan and/or vegetarian foods, sunshine, mountain walks, and an occasional sparkling white in a bottle.
She believes in minimalism as state of happiness, compassion as the art of living, and traveling as part of learning.
After a decade and half of working with national (Bhutan) and international organizations as a socio-economic and environmental consultant, Tshering found her vocation and passion in spirituality within the art of travel.

Originally from California, I’ve lived on this beautiful island since 1994. A graduate in Fine Arts from UCLA, I worked in graphic design in Santa Monica but always with a hand in the arts and crafts.
II created “Made in Mallorca” visits to the island in 2012 in order to introduce visitors to Mallorca in a completely different way giving them the chance to discover local artists and artisans in their own environment.
Along the way visitors have a chance to discover island culture through gastronomy, wine and seasonal festivals.

Having worked in all the remote areas of East Africa gave me a foundation to do my tours since I knew the countries of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda from my guiding days.
My passion for travel and freedom gave birth to my company GREAT EXPEDITIONS and also my dream of having a hotel.
I want to help local people as well so, I encourage guests to give 1 or 2 days to explore the community, and play with the kids or help out the local women and see their lives.

My name is Zerrin and I was born and raised on the southwest coast of Turkey, in Marmaris. As an official, national tour guide, I enjoy showing the religious, and historical sites, museums and other significant venues of interest, in a simple, safe and efficient way.
Turkey is a hidden gem where civilization began thousands of years ago. Cyprus is also a perfect place to visit - with a rich, ancient history.
I have been organizing journeys to all corners of Turkey and Northern Cyprus for the past 28 years.
Photography is a big love of mine as well. It is in my genes to capture the beauty of nature and life in pictures as I am the daughter of professional photographer. I love to illuminate my own perspective by visiting Art Galleries, and meeting artists, photographers and artisans.

I am bilingual in French and English and have been teaching English at the high school and university level for many years.
I am passionate about travel and world cuisine; after running a crêperie in a small Breton village, I went to the other side of the world to New Zealand, where I turned an Asian restaurant into a Breton crêperie!
When I got back to France, I organized group trips to the UK and South Africa as well as many exchanges with the United States for my students and small groups of adults.
Now I wish to share with you my passion for teaching and inter-culturality with my new project, Cooking with Words. Let me help you to practice your French while discovering the culture and food of Brittany, France.

I accepted a job doing guest relations in a small hotel in Marrakech about nine years ago and stayed till right now (minus the two Covid years back in Oz).
